The E-invoicing Toolbox is a set of tools, websites and documents to get you kick-started into e-invoicing, e-billing or invoice automation. The E-invoicing Toolbox provides you with over 75 recent and relevant resources placed in 11 topics on e-invoicing (sending B2B/B2G invoices), e-billing (sending B2C invoices) and invoice automation (receiving invoices).

The E-invoicing Toolbox is an initiative of the E-invoicing Trust Foundation. The E-invoicing Trust Foundation is an accredited organisation with a focus on permanent adoption of e-invoicing in the EU. Apart from the E-invoicing Toolbox, it also facilitates the E-invoicing Platform (formerly known as EEI Platform) and the E-invoicing Checklist.

No longer do you have to spend many precious hours on the Internet to collect your material, while you keep wondering whether this is the best you could get. We’ve already done the work for you. The E-invoicing Toolbox provides you with all the relevant and recent resources to get you(r organisation) kick-started.

Also, the Toolbox doesn’t just provide you with pages and pages of information that confirm what your common sense already knew; the E-invoicing Toolbox also provides you with tools to give e-invoicing a go straight away. How is that for a change?!

No, sorry. There is far too much information on e-invoicing, e-billing and invoice-automation out there. So, we selected the information that is really relevant and is preferably published in 2010 or 2011.

We also decided that the resources have to be publicly available, can be downloaded/used free of charge and should be unbiased by nature.

That way we’ve come up with a list of almost 80 relevant resources and tools.

That’s great! It means yet another resources that concretely get organisations kick-started into sending, receiving or exchanging e-invoices. Please, head over to our ‘submit resource’, page fill out the form. After review we’ll add it to the list of resources.

NOTE: Only if you select the ‘select all’ option you will receive all resources. If you selected just your target group, a theme or created an ‘a la carte’ selection, you don’t receive all the resources.

Nothing, the E-invoicing Toolbox is available free of charge. You can even compose your own personal version.

It is free because we believe that there should be as little barriers to start we sending or receiving e-invoices. The investments are made by the E-invoicing Trust Foundation. The same organisation that facilitates the E-invoicing Checklist and E-invoicing Platform.

Yes, we’re going to update it regularly. And even though our best efforts to provide you with the best resources out there, we love to hearing from you on new and better resources!

Nothing. None of your data goes to third parties. We use your email address to deliver your personal E-invoicing Toolbox to you. We use your e-mail address to inform you on new versions and updates of the E-invoicing Checklist and on other developments in e-invoicing. That’s it.

The E-Invoicing Trust Foundation (see underneath) collected and reviewed literally hundreds of resources from the organisations and initiatives that play a role on this topic:

The E-invoicing Checklist is intended as an internal self-assessment tool for anyone who wants to get started with e-invoicing. It contains more or less formal/fiscal aspects on e-invoicing that you should know of. You could use the E-invoicing Checklist to check to what extent you(r organisation) and your (organisations’) financial administration are “e-invoice ready”

Currently not. We are thinking of an E-invoicing Trustmark, a self-regulation initiative . The E-invoicing Trust Foundation is accredited based on the EU Service Directive to issue such Trustmarks.

The general idea is that you’re allowed to carry that logo (once you’ve agreed and signed the E-invoicing Trustmark Manifesto and paid the invoice), showing that you are trustworthy e-invoicing partner.

On this website, you can select some popular pre-selections. Or you can go ‘a la carte’ and select only the chapters that are relevant to you. These are combined into your own personal E-invoicing Checklist, which is sent to you by e-mail.
